Most children are ready to begin guitar lessons around age 6, depending on their attention span, hand size, coordination, and interest in music. Some students can start earlier with the right guitar teacher and approach. Younger student typically start out with a 1/2 size or 3/4 size guitar.
Our instructors tailor lessons to each student’s age, personality, and learning style to keep lessons engaging, encouraging, and fun. Students can explore acoustic, electric, rock, pop, blues, worship, and other styles based on their interests.
Teens and adults can start guitar lessons at any age. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or returning after years away, our teachers work with students of all ages and experience levels.
Students in our guitar lessons learn proper technique, chords, scales, rhythm, music theory, ear training, and how to play songs they enjoy. Every lesson is personalized to the student’s age, experience level, learning style, and musical goals. At the first lesson, your guitar teacher will take time to learn about your musical interests and goals so they can create a personalized learning plan that keeps lessons engaging, motivating, and fun.
You do not need a guitar to book your trial lesson. We have loaner guitars that students are welcome to use during trial lessons — just come ready to learn and have fun.
Students will eventually need an instrument for practice at home. Our instructors are happy to help guide you on purchasing your first guitar.
Our guitar teachers work with students in a wide variety of styles including rock, pop, blues, acoustic, metal, worship, indie, folk, jazz, and classical guitar. Whether you dream of playing your favorite songs, jamming with friends, leading worship, writing original music, or mastering iconic guitar solos, our lessons are designed to help students grow into confident, well-rounded musicians.
Students can learn everything from beginner chords and strumming patterns to lead guitar, improvisation, fingerstyle technique, songwriting, music theory, ear training, and soloing. Lessons are personalized around each student’s musical interests, goals, and experience level to keep learning engaging, motivating, and fun.
We have a diverse team of guitar teachers with different musical backgrounds, specialties, and personalities, allowing us to match each student with an instructor who inspires and connects with them. When students are excited about the music they’re learning, lessons become more meaningful — and that’s when real growth happens.
Guitar lessons are typically once per week. We schedule at the same day and time each week. Weekly consistency is the single biggest factor in student progress.
Private guitar lessons are offered in 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes lengths. Most beginner guitar students start with a 30 minute weekly lesson.
Tuition is billed monthly and includes your lessons, recitals, our Level Up Achievement program, and more! All designed to keep students engaged and progressing.

No long-term contracts. Lessons run month-to-month and if you ever need to stop, we simply ask for 30 days’ notice.
And if life gets in the way of a lesson, we offer unlimited makeups with at least 24 hours’ notice. So missing a week doesn’t mean losing momentum.
