Most children are ready to begin brass lessons around age 9 or 10, depending on their physical development, lung capacity, attention span, and interest in music. Our brass teachers tailor lessons to each student’s age, personality, and learning style to create a fun and encouraging environment. Early lessons focus on building strong fundamentals, proper breathing habits, tone production, confidence, and a lifelong love of music.
Teens and adults can start at any age — whether learning for the first time or returning to an instrument after years away.
Students in our brass lessons learn proper embouchure, breathing technique, tone production, articulation, note reading, rhythm, ear training, and musical expression while exploring music they enjoy.
Every lesson is personalized to the student’s age, experience level, learning style, and goals. Whether your child is starting beginner trumpet lessons, preparing for school band, or pursuing advanced brass repertoire, we have a teacher and approach that fits their needs.
At the first lesson, your teacher will take time to learn about your musical interests and goals so they can create a plan that keeps lessons motivating, engaging, and fun.
Our brass teachers offer instruction for trumpet, trombone, euphonium, baritone, , and tuba students. Whether students are preparing for school band, youth orchestra, solo performance, or simply learning for fun, we help students build strong musical foundations and confidence.
Our brass teachers work with students in a variety of styles including classical, jazz, marching band, concert band, pop, film music, worship, and contemporary styles.
Whether your goal is to perform in band, audition for honor ensembles, play your favorite songs, or simply enjoy making music, we help students pursue music that inspires them. We have a diverse team of teachers with different musical backgrounds and personalities, allowing us to thoughtfully match each student with an instructor who motivates and connects with them.
Brass lessons are typically once per week. We schedule at the same day and time each week. Weekly consistency is the single biggest factor in student progress.
Private brass lessons are offered in 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes lengths. Most beginner brass students start with a 30 minute weekly lesson.
Tuition is billed monthly and includes your lessons, recitals, our Level Up Achievement program, and more! All designed to keep students engaged and progressing.
Payments are processed automatically via ACH or credit card on the first of each month. Click here to View Tuition Rates.
No long-term contracts. Lessons run month-to-month and if you ever need to stop, we simply ask for 30 days’ notice.
And if life gets in the way of a lesson, we offer unlimited makeups with at least 24 hours’ notice. So missing a week doesn’t mean losing momentum.
